Families Need the Summer EBT Program NOW!
Governors in Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, and Wyoming
This summer was super tough for millions of hard-working families as they navigated challenges like finding child care and keeping their kids fed. And it was even harder than it needed to be in 13 states because Governors from Alabama, Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont, and Wyoming said ‘no thanks’ to this year’s new national Summer EBT (or ‘SUN Bucks’) program.
SUN Bucks gave the families of kids who qualify a pre-loaded EBT card with $120 to help pay for groceries. But Governors in 13 states put politics over children, forcing kids to go hungry during summer months.
Now we have an opportunity to make sure our Governors change course and give hard-working families access to Summer EBT $$$ next summer.
Will you sign the petition demanding all Governors give kids in their state access to Summer EBT?

Summer break is hard enough on parents, especially as food and child care prices have increased in recent years. The Summer EBT program gives the families of children who qualify extra help with groceries during the summer, which is a game-changer for millions of families.
Last summer, 8 million kids missed out on this vital support because their governors did not implement the program. Our children deserve better. We urge you to make Summer EBT available to children in your state who qualify without delay.
